Great Doll. A huge hit with my son February 13, 2010

My two and a half year old son is very very interested in all things Toy Story. For Christmas he received a small soft Woody Doll and a talking Buzz Lightyear. Buzz was broken within a week (arms and legs were broken off). Yes, I realize my son is likely too young for it. BUT, even partially dismembered, he is still my son's favorite. The other day, we saw Talking Woody. Well, my son was instantly smitten and so, Woody returned home with us. I like this doll MUCH more than the Buzz, simply in terms of durability. The hat is a real pain to deal with though as it falls off all the time. I'm considering a velcro fix, we'll see. Maybe I'll just hide the hat. Anyway, we've already had to magic marker Woody's boot with my son's name and he walks around with Woody and Buzz proclaiming them, "My best present ever!". He still loves his soft Woody, which we call Cuddle Woody, so he can take this one to bed (along with a small soft cuddle Buzz - yes, we are suckers). So, there you have it. My only issue with it is that it seems like Woody will just randomly start talking with motion, and not just when the string is pulled. Interesting...

Great toy, with a few nitpicks August 15, 2010

This is a great Sheriff Woody, although a little on the expensive side. There are only a couple things I find off about him-- first off, I'm not sure if it's Tom Hanks' voice or not-- sometimes it sounds like him, sometimes it doesn't. It's a bit of a surprise, since the similar Blast-Off Buzz quite obviously uses Tim Allen's voice. It's close enough though that I doubt a kid would notice, or particularly care, and he sounds very lively all the same. Second is the way his arms are stitched on; they're at an angle, which makes him look very natural when his arms are down, but makes them difficult to lift up. I'm not sure if the rag doll version is any different, but if your child is more interested in playing with Woody than hearing him talk, you may want to check. Finally, his battery pack (two AAAs) is rather difficult to get to-- it's approximately where his butt is, under several layers of fabric.Other than those two relatively minor nitpicks, I think this is a great Woody, and looks a lot more accurate to the movie than a lot of other Woody toys out there. Everything looks to be of great quality and durable, including his pull string. His voice box can be turned off too, the switch is pretty easy to get at. And the 'hat recognition' works perfectly, you don't have to jam it on his head or anything.Overall, if the price tag isn't an issue, I would definitely recommend this Sheriff Woody over all others.

Sheriff Woody was under the Christmas tree for my 4 yr old daughter. She loves Toy Story movies and only seemed appropriate to have her own Woody Cowboy doll. His size is perfect and exactly as the description states. She instantly latched onto him. He has numerous different sayings, and even though his pull string is a little different than expected he works perfectly even after months of rough play (today's technology has changed pull-string dolls). He looks just like Sheriff Woody on tv and the only bad review we've gotten as parents from my daughter is that . . . Santa forgot Jessie ; Bullseye.

My daughter loves everything Tangled since the movie first came out. For her Birthday in February I bought her the regular Disney Tangled doll, which they ended up pulling from the site due to hair problems and sending us a gift cert because her hair was just that bad. I had promised her another Rapunzel doll and this is that doll; I was lucky enough to get one free for review, she was just delighted. This doll has wonderful hair, that alone more than makes up for Rapunzel 1. It is long and silky and a 5 year old girl's dream to brush and do up. Then their is her beautiful dress and she lights up and plays about 30 seconds of the Lights song from the movie, the part where she sees the Lanterns in the sky she has always wanted to see. It is very clear and sounds just like the singer, but cuts off a little abruptly, no big issue really. All in all this is just a wonderful doll. My daughter would have been thrilled with just the doll herself, so the fact she lights up AND sings is like a double feature bonus for her, this is by far her favorite Barbie now!

I thought this would be a cool doll. It's definitely not a doll--it's more like an interactive ornament. And maybe that's ok--just not what I thought it would be.You can't do anything with her. Immovable. She just stands there, with her light-up dress and sings about seven words from the song. That's it. Pretty lights, and a bit of a song. Seems pretty expensive for that. I'm glad to see that some folks have had such a great response to this from their kids.

Lovely doll and from what I've seen so far fairly durable with the exception of the dress - BIG mistake decorating the fabric with glitter as it was spewing out of the box and was all over in her hair.The doll lights up and sings as promises, thankfully she sings only one verse, more than that might drive everyone positively barmy.This would be a great doll for a six and older child that enjoys combing and creating hair styles, but dis-satisfying for any child that likes playing dress up as the dress is not to be removed. This is in large part due to the sparkly light show the doll provides. As I said before, she is more of a decoration than a toy, which is why I feel that offering her up as a plaything for children as young as three is a bit of a reach.

I made out like crazy at Toys R Us. They had full shelves today. I really need to stay away from that store now. My daughter is going to flip when she sees her dolls this year. This cleo de nile doll comes in a narrow box, similar to the barbie beach dolls. They are a little more money that the barbie ones but not by much. They rang up $14.99 for these. They don't have the pet with them, but they carry some beach accessories. You pay the additional $5 or so for the uniqueness. And this doll is beautiful I think it fills that Bratz void. Very nice doll. Treat gently and save pennies. Prices should come down after Xmas, but really, Toys R Us has done a great job stocking them this season.

My son really enjoyed receiving this at Christmas. These types of toys are not found in any store so it was very fun for him to open this at Christmas. These characters are not easy to find anywhere. MATTEL RETHINK DESIGN October 11, 2010

These dolls are the cutest dolls ever - but I have had 2 dolls fall completely apart within an hour of being out of their box. Now, I understand that the arms are meant to disconnect and we have had no problems with that at all. The problem we have had is that the legs of the dolls are held together with a gold elastic band between the body. This elastic, if not assembled properly, becomes pinched in the plastic of the doll and movement of the dolls legs breaks the elastic piece by piece until the dolls legs fall completely off and there is no fix for this! It does not matter how gentle you are with the doll - if the elastic was pinched in the plastic when it was made then the doll WILL break. I have called Mattel twice about this problem and recommend any other mother who has had a problem with these dolls legs breaking off to call them as well. My girls are older and within the recommended age limits for this set of dolls. The issue is a manufacturing error and Mattel needs to redesign. An elastic piece holding a dolls legs together is poor and cheap design and needs to go back to the drawing board.

Yes, they do have small parts, and yes they are fragile but it's easy to put their hands, arms, whatever falls off back in place... it snaps in. So don't let that stop you from getting these dolls. They are wonderful and fun and different and hey they're supposed to be monsters so if a random arm or whatever comes off it's no big deal. It is easy to put back together again.

I love this doll! I bought it for my daughter 2 days ago ; she adores her. I am so glad someone has come up with a doll for girls who are not into the pretty-princess thing. I plan to buy all Monster High dolls etc.The doll box clearly states age 6+ for this doll,so don't give her to babies or wild-ones that will pull her apart. Our doll does not come apart easily. We had to pull HARD to detatch her hand. It snapped tightly into place,so don't worry about the dropsies stated in an earlier review. Super posibility makes these dolls super fun for young imaginations. Give Monster High a chance. I don't think you will be disappointed.

Very nicely done Matel! I love the Twilight series dolls. This Jane Barbie is so perfect. I love that she has red eyes just like the movie. Her black outfit has little black shiny buttons down the front, a necklace, and her outfit is complete with gloves and boots. The Twlight Jane doll is quite lovely and as with all Barbie Collector dolls, comes with stand and certificate of authenticity.Some things to note:-- She is not posable. The legs and arms are hard hollow cheap plastic and do not bend or move in any way. Jane's going to be posed the same way always.-- Her body is also hollow hard plastic plastic that feels very cheap (like a dime-story Barbie knock off). It's surprising the lack of quality in a Barbie Collector doll.Jane is probably best displayed on a shelf or left in her box. I wouldn't recommend her for younger kids who want to play with her - likely they'd break a hollow leg easily. She clearly is not of the same quality as the previous Twilight Barbie dolls, which is a shame.

Obviously, I didn't get this for myself. I ordered this doll after hearing a young relative rant and rave about how much she loves to watch the show "victorious". I personally have never even heard of it. So after spending the day shopping in a store, I came across this doll, for quite a hefty price I might add. The price was supposed to be a "sale price"...yeah right.So, as I usually do, I came home and checked on amazon for the exact same product. And not surprisingly, I found the doll at about half the price of what I would have paid in the store, and free shipping.Now, on to the doll itself. This doll has remarkable appearance in comparison to its human counterpart. I opened the box very carefully to test it out and make sure it worked properly. This doll sings well and would sound great to a child. It really is probably the best deal I have found this year, and I know that she will love it. Great product that seems as though will last a long time, with heavy abuse by a six year old.

Although we have really liked most of our other Melissa and Doug dollhouse purchases -- we were a little disappointed with this set. After very little use the fridge is now unusable as the door has broken. Several chips were in the paint upon opening -- and, while this is subjective -- it just isn't very attractive. Very cute kitchen set for dollhouse! Set comes securely wrapped and is as pictured on site. One of the handles did quickly break off of the sink, but I was able to glue it back on without any issue. It may have broken off while unpackaging the product. My daughter loves the whole set

When I was babysitting one Friday night, and my granddaughter remarked to me that when her brother played with his cars he never let her touch them and he told her they were for boys ; she was too little to play and she was a girl. Well this upset her and she asked me for her own car. We went online to Amazon and typed in pink car (that's what she wanted). We ordered the item and she was soon happy when it came. Now both play with cars together, her little doll fits inside the car perfectly. Thanks for making me a hero with her!

My 2 1/2 year old loves this remote car. She puts her little dolls in the seats and drives them around the house. The remote has nice big buttons so she doesn't get frustrated trying to change directions. Cute idea since there aren't many remote controlled toys for girls.

This is a really cute set full of a lot of fun accessories. It comes with Lagoona and a jar with a 3-headed frog in it (Lagoona's science experiment). Also included is a locker with a cute MH Skull lock that really works. When you open up the locker, you have an extra set of clothes (for after science class, of course!), brush, and a few small science items. THere's also a book and stickers with which you can decorate Lagoona's locker.The extra outfit is very Lagoona - a shirt with little 'waves' pattern and a box on front - with matching deep lagoon blue pants and black trim.The doll itself is lovely - she has a beautiful side braid with a bit of fringe and then the rest of her hair is loose. She comes with dress, shoes, and lab coat.In all, there's a lot to see and do with this and my 8 year old was very pleased with it - she and her friends had fun going over all the extras in the locker.

This doll is hard to come by and when I finally found one I was so happy. She's just adorable in her little science outfit. I do have a few complaints. Her hair wasn't very nice when I got her out of the box. Once I got it washed and curled it she looked so much better. Her shoes, though they may be cute are a pain in the butt to take on and off. I don't really take her out of her outfit because of it. Her fins don't want to stay in her legs, they constantly fall out. I don't like to move her around to much in fear I might lose a fin. Overall they're pretty minor flaws. I can forgive them just because the whole set is just so nice. I adore her face, the way it's painted makes her looks so sweet. From her big round eyes, to her cute little freckles! I would recommend this doll!

I don't know who's going to read this but I'll write it anyway. My Lagoona Blue doll's fins do NOT stay on her legs And her pants fall apart everytime I make her sit down or bend over. I just took her pants off and had her wear her ocean print "dress." I don't know about you but this isn't the best quality doll. Hoping it's just mine.

We had a kidcraft dollhouse before, a different model, and it was so flimsy. This one is solid, and it has so many features that my children love. The door opens. The windows open. It has stairs. It came with a ton of furniture. It has a balcony high enough for stunts. Star Wars figures fit well in it.The only aggravation we have is that the stairs come off so easily, but if your little girl doesn't have a one year old brother who loves to torment her, it's hardly an issue at all. They don't fall off in play.I love it for how sturdy it is, for how complete the furniture collection is, and for how quickly it went together.

So impressed with this dollhouse. The furniture that it comes with is so adorable. We have had the Barbie houses in the past and this is so much better. It does not fit standard 12 in dolls, so my daughter uses her Polly Pockets. I highly recommend this house!

These diapers are horrible! They leak constantly! Don't waste your money on these! I went ahead and bought a package of Huggies Newborn diapers (for real babies)and my daughter is using those on her Baby Alive instead. They seem to work better, and are more economical than these things!

We love the diapers of course...but at $1 a piece...just go buy newborn pampers or off brand. They provide the same service to a baby that won't even get a diaper rash and needs one diaper for every time you feed it
