Wand Starts Magic Light Show
With the Sing and Glow Rapunzel Doll, you can bring the story of Tangled home with you. In the movie, Rapunzel has magical hair that glows when she sings. The Rapunzel doll captures the details of the animated Rapunzel character, with shiny, long blond hair and a purple, glittery dress. Though her hair doesn't glow, the wand activates a glowing light show that brightens Rapunzel's dress and vibrant hair.
Wave the Wand to Bring Rapunzel to Life
The Sing and Glow Rapunzel Doll is activated with a wave of the magic wand. After removing the pull tab from Rapunzel's back, she is ready to sing. Swoop the wand underneath the flower emblem on her chest, and she will sing a full 30-second clip from her hit song, "I See the Light," which is featured in the movie. At the same time, a beautiful purple and pink light show will glow through Rapunzel's glittering dress.
Three AAA batteries are included with the Rapunzel Doll, and will need to be replaced when her singing slows or the lights grow dim.

My daughter loves everything Tangled since the movie first came out. For her Birthday in February I bought her the regular Disney Tangled doll, which they ended up pulling from the site due to hair problems and sending us a gift cert because her hair was just that bad. I had promised her another Rapunzel doll and this is that doll; I was lucky enough to get one free for review, she was just delighted. This doll has wonderful hair, that alone more than makes up for Rapunzel 1. It is long and silky and a 5 year old girl's dream to brush and do up. Then their is her beautiful dress and she lights up and plays about 30 seconds of the Lights song from the movie, the part where she sees the Lanterns in the sky she has always wanted to see. It is very clear and sounds just like the singer, but cuts off a little abruptly, no big issue really. All in all this is just a wonderful doll. My daughter would have been thrilled with just the doll herself, so the fact she lights up AND sings is like a double feature bonus for her, this is by far her favorite Barbie now!

I thought this would be a cool doll. It's definitely not a doll--it's more like an interactive ornament. And maybe that's ok--just not what I thought it would be.You can't do anything with her. Immovable. She just stands there, with her light-up dress and sings about seven words from the song. That's it. Pretty lights, and a bit of a song. Seems pretty expensive for that. I'm glad to see that some folks have had such a great response to this from their kids.

Lovely doll and from what I've seen so far fairly durable with the exception of the dress - BIG mistake decorating the fabric with glitter as it was spewing out of the box and was all over in her hair.The doll lights up and sings as promises, thankfully she sings only one verse, more than that might drive everyone positively barmy.This would be a great doll for a six and older child that enjoys combing and creating hair styles, but dis-satisfying for any child that likes playing dress up as the dress is not to be removed. This is in large part due to the sparkly light show the doll provides. As I said before, she is more of a decoration than a toy, which is why I feel that offering her up as a plaything for children as young as three is a bit of a reach.

Annoying to adults, but my child loves it.
